HR Business Partner – Labor Management(Bilingual in Chinese)

<p></p> <h3>About the Role</h3> <p>You will manage temporary labor and staffing agency partners across our warehouse sites. The goal is to keep the right number of people on site, control costs, and stay compliant.</p> <h3>Responsibilities</h3> <ul> <li>Plan labor needs with site Operations, and track attendance, fill rate, and turnover.</li> <li>Manage staffing agencies, including contracts, rates, performance reviews, and temp-to-hire conversions.</li> <li>Check vendor invoices against approved hours, and look for ways to reduce labor costs.</li> <li>Keep temporary labor compliant with federal and state employment laws, including California wage-and-hour rules, and limit co-employment risk.</li> <li>Handle employee relations issues and make sure safety and onboarding training is completed.</li> <li>Report labor metrics to leadership every week and every month.</li> </ul> <h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>3+ years of HR experience, including 2+ years managing temporary labor in warehousing or logistics.</li> <li>Working knowledge of U.S. employment law; California experience preferred.</li> <li>Experience managing staffing vendors and reconciling invoices.</li> <li>Strong Excel skills.</li> <li>Able to travel between sites.</li> <li><strong>Bilingual in English and Chinese (Mandarin) preferred.</strong></li> </ul> <p></p>
