Within a year, your designs will be operating complex mechanisms in the field and in the air<strong><em>.</em></strong> You will report into our Lead Electrical Engineer (not manager’s name)] DoorDash Air team in our DoorDash Labs organization.</p> <h2><strong>You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Design mechatronics systems from a blank sheet</li> <li>Impact how our customers and merchants interact with our systems</li> <li>You’ll own the electrical design while collaborating closely with firmware, systems and mechanical engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and reliability teams</li> </ul> <h2><strong>We’re excited about you because…</strong><strong><em>&nbsp;</em></strong></h2> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field</li> <li>You have 5+ years of experience designing electronics circuit in highly cross-functional work environments</li> <li>You can design and bring-up a board with a micro-controller, integrate sensors, actuators, and design mixed-signal circuitry to support interfaces such as analog, SPI, CAN or ethernet</li> <li>You can own and prototype the entire electrical design of a small robotic system</li> <li>You can debug a complex system and identify issues caused by signal integrity, electromagnetic interference,&nbsp; firmware or mechanical design</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p><span style="font-size: 32px;"><strong>Compensation</strong></span></p> <p>The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.</p> <p>In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants.
