Quality Control Inspector – Starlink Aviation

Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of&nbsp;enabling human life on Mars.</p></div><p><strong>QUALITY INSPECTOR</strong></p> <p>As a Quality Control Inspector on the Starlink Aviation team, you will perform hands-on inspections of electrical and mechanical assemblies, document nonconformances, and help resolve issues so we can deliver reliable aviation products. You’ll work directly with design and integration engineers, quality specialists, and supply chain partners. This is a hands-on role supporting SpaceX’s mission to connect customers around the world.</p> <p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p> <ul class="list-inside list-disc whitespace-normal [li_&amp;]:pl-6" data-streamdown="unordered-list"> <li class="py-1 [&amp;>p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Perform detailed in-process and final inspections on electrical and mechanical assemblies using drawings, CAD models, and established processes</li> <li class="py-1 [&amp;>p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Travel to install and repair locations to inspect repair-station work</li> <li class="py-1 [&amp;>p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Identify, document, and help resolve production and test anomalies; drive corrective action as needed</li> <li class="py-1 [&amp;>p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Communicate and resolve quality issues with the Starlink Aviation and Repair Station teams</li> <li class="py-1 [&amp;>p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Document nonconformances according to procedure</li> <li class="py-1 [&amp;>p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Support quality management system documentation, compliance to company and industry standards, and continual improvement efforts</li> </ul> <p><strong>BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p> <ul class="list-inside list-disc whitespace-normal [li_&amp;]:pl-6" data-streamdown="unordered-list"> <li class="py-1 [&amp;>p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">High school diploma or equivalency certificate</li> <li class="py-1 [&amp;>p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">2+ years of quality control or inspection experience in a manufacturing or production environment</li> </ul> <p><strong>PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:</strong></p> <ul class="list-inside list-disc whitespace-normal [li_&amp;]:pl-6" data-streamdown="unordered-list"> <li class="py-1 [&amp;>p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">4+ years of inspection experience in a manufacturing environment</li> <li class="py-1 [&amp;>p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in a technical or engineering field</li> <li class="py-1 [&amp;>p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Experience with material review board (MRB) and root cause/corrective action processes</li> <li class="py-1 [&amp;>p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Experience with quality management systems (AS9100 and/or ISO 9001)</li> <li class="py-1 [&amp;>p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Self-motivated and able to manage priorities with limited supervision</li> <li class="py-1 [&amp;>p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Strong written and verbal communication skills</li> </ul> <p><strong>ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p> <ul class="list-inside list-disc whitespace-normal [li_&amp;]:pl-6" data-streamdown="unordered-list"> <li class="py-1 [&amp;>p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed</li> <li class="py-1 [&amp;>p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Estimated shifts: 1st shift 5:30 AM–4:00 PM or 2nd shift 3:30 PM–2:00 AM</li> <li class="py-1 [&amp;>p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs unassisted</li> <li class="py-1 [&amp;>p]:inline" data-streamdown="list-item">Must be able to stand for extended periods (8 hours minimum)</l
