This role offers the opportunity to implement creative security solutions while ensuring national security requirements are met without slowing the pace of innovation.</p> <p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Independently manage COMSEC accounts, key issuance, and destruction procedures</li> <li>Perform and oversee self-inspections, inventories, and compliance activities to company standards</li> <li>Operate, troubleshoot, and configure End Crypto Units including the KG-175 suite, KGR-42, and KG-250 suite</li> <li>Prepare COMSEC deliverables such as security plans and key management plans with limited oversight</li> <li>Interface with customer counterparts at the security execution level and present to leadership</li> </ul> <p><strong>BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree; OR 3+ years of professional experience in COMSEC or a security field in lieu of a degree</li> <li>1+ years of experience in COMSEC or a security field</li> </ul> <p><strong>PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:</strong></p> <ul> <li>2+ years of experience with CNSSI 4005 &amp; 4001, NCSM Vol. 2, NSA/CSS Manual 3-16, and related COMSEC policies and procedures</li> <li>1+ year of experience with systems including International Association of Privacy Professionals (iApp), Key Management Infrastructure (KMI), CARDS, CORE, and Distributed INFOSEC Account System (DIAS)</li> <li>Experience preparing security deliverables and identifying creative solutions that protect national security</li> <li>Strong ability to work across departments and interface effectively with customer counterparts</li> <li>Experience presenting to leadership and determining work priorities independently</li> </ul> <p><strong>ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Must be willing to work in a classified environment</li> <li>Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed</li> <li>An active clearance may provide the opportunity for you to work on sensitive SpaceX missions; if so, you will be subject to pre-employment drug and random drug and alcohol testing</li> <li>This position requires successfully obtaining and maintaining a Top Secret Security Clearance as a condition of employment.
