Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of&nbsp;enabling human life on Mars.</p></div><div id="page-1" class="_kqswh2mm _bfhku67f _18u01wug _2hwx1wug" data-testid="page-0"><strong>SUPERVISOR, QUALITY ASSURANCE (STARLINK AVIATION)&nbsp;</strong></div> <div class="_kqswh2mm _bfhku67f _18u01wug _2hwx1wug" data-testid="page-0">&nbsp;</div> <div class="_kqswh2mm _bfhku67f _18u01wug _2hwx1wug" data-testid="page-0"><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></div> <div class="_kqswh2mm _bfhku67f _18u01wug _2hwx1wug" data-testid="page-0"> <ul> <li>Lead a team of quality inspectors and be accountable for their performance and goals</li> <li>Supervise and assist in completion of eCert and IQC quality assurance activities using SpaceX processes and systems in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment</li> <li>Implement training, qualifications and levelling matrixes to maintain a highly skilled, flexible, and capable inspection team</li> <li>Effectively manage, coach, and mentor inspectors; write bi-annual reviews and manage corrective or disciplinary actions</li> <li>Create and implement area standards and run rules by prioritizing safety and quality</li> <li>Lead Root Cause Corrective Action process, root cause analysis, and recommend and support the implementation of corrective actions that are necessary to reduce or eliminate recurring non-conformances</li> <li>Own the critical characteristic control within the inspection process, including the establishment of necessary inspection equipment/layout requirements</li> </ul> </div> <div class="_kqswh2mm _bfhku67f _18u01wug _2hwx1wug" data-testid="page-0"><strong>BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></div> <div class="_kqswh2mm _bfhku67f _18u01wug _2hwx1wug" data-testid="page-0"> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree OR 4+ years of quality or inspection experience in aerospace, military, or high-volume manufacturing/production environment in lieu of a degree</li> <li>1+ years of experience leading a team or projects&nbsp;</li> </ul> </div> <div class="_kqswh2mm _bfhku67f _18u01wug _2hwx1wug" data-testid="page-0"><strong>PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE</strong>:</div> <div class="_kqswh2mm _bfhku67f _18u01wug _2hwx1wug" data-testid="page-0"> <ul> <li>3+ years of experience with one or combination of the following: <ul> <li>Inspecting solder, crimping, conformal coating, staking, and surface mounted devices accordance IPC-J-STD-001, IPC-A-610 standards</li> <li>Wire harness experience in accordance with IPC-A-620 standards</li> </ul> </li> <li>Inspection and Drawing interpretation per ASME Y14.5</li> <li>Quality documentation review per SPX-00000874</li> <li>Previous leadership experience in a technical field with 6+ direct reports</li> <li>Practical experience with Quality Management Systems standards (AS9100 and ISO 9001) and Lean Manufacturing</li> <li>Experience with applying PFMEA/FMECA methods and statistical process control</li> <li>Strong knowledge in visual inspection of PCBs, PCBAs, and electronic assemblies including inspection of soldered SMT connections, conformal coating, staking, hardware, mechanical, etc.</li> <li>Strong computer and analytical skills including proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, shop floor management software (ERP/MRP) and related programs</li> <li>Familiarity with Design for Manufacturability, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Failure Mode Effects Analysis</li> <li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment with flight quality hardware&nbsp;</li> </ul> </div> <div class="_kqswh2mm _bfhku67f _18u01wug _2hwx1wug" data-testid="page-1"><strong>ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:</strong></div> <div class="_kqswh2mm _bfhku67f _18u01wug _2hwx1wug" data-testid="page-1"> <ul> <li>Must be willing to work extended hours and week
