As a Pediatric Visiting Nurse, you'll provide comprehensive in-home assessments and skilled nursing care, utilizing clinical skills similar to those used in an urgent care setting. Working closely with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary care team, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional, patient-centered care while helping children receive the treatment they need in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes.</p> <p data-start="690" data-end="892">If you enjoy building relationships, thinking critically, and delivering personalized care, this role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and their families every day.</p> <h3><span style="color: rgb(186, 55, 42);">What You’ll Do:</span></h3> <ul data-start="915" data-end="1617"> <li data-section-id="tmuxz3" data-start="915" data-end="991">Perform pediatric home visits&nbsp;</li> <li data-section-id="1svl48l" data-start="992" data-end="1060">Complete comprehensive nursing assessments and ongoing evaluations</li> <li data-section-id="l16cvm" data-start="1061" data-end="1148">Monitor and document vital signs, pulse oximetry readings, and overall patient status</li> <li data-section-id="l16cvm" data-start="1061" data-end="1148">Complete in the moment calls with physician</li> <li data-section-id="w21cws" data-start="1149" data-end="1225">Administer skilled nursing care and treatments as ordered by the physician</li> <li data-section-id="1dqz9ed" data-start="1226" data-end="1275">Perform flu, strep, and COVID testing as needed</li> <li data-section-id="1uwdgak" data-start="1276" data-end="1342">Obtain laboratory specimens, including blood draws when required</li> <li data-section-id="p1kcow" data-start="1343" data-end="1386">Initiate and manage IV therapy as ordered</li> <li data-section-id="uxi2fo" data-start="1387" data-end="1476">Educate patients and caregivers on disease management, medications, and treatment plans</li> <li data-section-id="ayozc9" data-start="1477" data-end="1561">Communicate changes in condition to physicians.</li> <li data-section-id="qlech8" data-start="1562" data-end="1617">Complete timely and accurate electronic documentation</li> </ul> <h3><span style="color: rgb(186, 55, 42);">What We’re Looking For:</span></h3> <ul data-start="1638" data-end="2117"> <li data-section-id="8ge92n" data-start="1638" data-end="1672">Current RN license in New Jersey</li> <li data-section-id="18e2f2s" data-start="1673" data-end="1726">Minimum of one year of nursing experience required</li> <li data-section-id="1vfzxu6" data-start="1727" data-end="1774">Pediatric and infant care experience required</li> <li data-section-id="1vcn26o" data-start="1775" data-end="1832">Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills</li> <li data-section-id="12cma3d" data-start="1888" data-end="1943">Comfortable working independently in the home setting</li> <li data-section-id="mjr2b4" data-start="1944" data-end="2040">Tech-savvy with the ability to complete electronic documentation and utilize mobile technology</li> <li data-section-id="13190bo" data-start="2041" data-end="2117">Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throu
