Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.</p></div><p><strong>INDUSTRIAL SECURITY ANALYST (MDSO)</strong></p> <p>SpaceX is looking for a multidisciplinary Industrial Security Officer (MDSO) to serve as a Security Analyst within our Washington, DC office. This is a chance to fill a critical role within a dynamic and high-tempo environment working on programs pushing the boundaries of industry and technology. A successful candidate will be a self-starter and problem-solver and will possess the ability to convey security requirements to a diverse group of technical personnel.</p> <p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Own all SCI security aspects within a fast-paced SCIF environment</li> <li>Support FSO in day-to-day collateral security requirements</li> <li>Support all program security aspects of our SCI missions, to include Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), OPSEC plans, PPP’s, DD254’s, etc.</li> <li>Enforce DD254 provisions and own the issuance of subcontractor DD254s</li> <li>Coordinate SCI indoctrinations/debriefings</li> <li>Partner with Mission Management and government representatives to ensure program deliverables are met</li> <li>Create and update all annual refresher, indoctrination, and exit briefings as needed in accordance with policy and government customer requirements</li> <li>Partner with Mission Management and Engineering teams to enhance their understanding of the program classification and other protection requirements</li> <li>Possess a strong understanding of SCG development and the ability to influence customer determinations</li> <li>Maintain accountability of associated program materials</li> <li>Prepare for and successfully execute compliance inspections, including self-inspections</li> <li>Conduct security-related inquiries and incident reporting</li> <li>Keep abreast of the latest security trends and policy updates, implementing innovative solutions and processes</li> <li>Attend and support various customer meetings and working groups</li> </ul> <p><strong>BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree; OR 3+ years of security experience performing NISPOM-related security responsibilities in lieu of a degree </li> <li>1+ years of security experience performing responsibilities specifically within a SCI environment</li> <li>Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. Note that an active clearance may provide the opportunity for you to work on sensitive SpaceX missions. If so, you will be subject to pre-employment drug and random drug, and alcohol testing</li> </ul> <p><strong>PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree</li> <li>Strong knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM), Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and other related security policies and procedures</li> <li>Familiarity with DISS, NBIS, TALON, and Scattered Castles</li> <li>Familiarity with SIMS</li> </ul> <p><strong>ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ability to favorably complete a U.S. Government CI scope polygraph</li> <li>Ability to travel in support of mission requirements</li> <li>Willingness to work extended hours or weekends as needed in support of mission-critical deadlines and milestones</li> </ul> <p><strong>COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:</strong><br><br>Pay Range:<br>Level 1: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00<br>Level 2: $105,000.00 - $140,000.00<br><br></p> <p>Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.</p> <p>Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
