Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of&nbsp;enabling human life on Mars.</p></div><p></p> <p><strong>SUPERVISOR, CRANE OPERATIONS (MAINTENANCE &amp; SERVICE)</strong></p> <p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead a team responsible for all facilities crane and elevator operations to ensure zero unplanned interruptions of services to employees and customers.&nbsp;</li> <li>Coordinate the planning, budgeting, scheduling, and scope of work enforcement for facilities crane operations and elevator services.&nbsp;</li> <li>Develop and administer an effective and efficient preventative maintenance program.&nbsp;</li> <li>Open, track, and resolve electronic work tickets on SpaceX’s custom work order system.&nbsp;</li> <li>Provide leadership, conduct annual performance reviews, and manage subordinate technicians.&nbsp;</li> <li>Consult with production engineering and facilities construction for required crane systems.&nbsp;</li> <li>Prioritize tasks and projects effectively to drive department efficiency and eliminate blockers to critical path.&nbsp;</li> <li>Have high regard for personal safety and safety of others while providing safety leadership and driving a culture of safety excellence.&nbsp;</li> <li>Assure there is compliance with all Federal, State and local building codes as related to facilities crane and elevator operations.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p> <ul> <li><span class="TextRun SCXW251811847 BCX0" lang="EN-US" data-contrast="none"><span class="NormalTextRun SCXW251811847 BCX0">High school diploma or equivalency certificate.</span></span></li> <li>3+ years of experience as a lead or supervisor in crane maintenance and repair.</li> </ul> <p><strong>PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:</strong></p> <ul> <li>PMP, BOC Level I or Level II, or CFM/FMP certifications. &nbsp;</li> <li>Bachelor’s degree in facilities operations, or equivalent trade experience.&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience with bridge and gantry cranes.&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to read, interpret and understand technical language in specifications, schematics and blueprints.&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to work in a manufacturing atmosphere safely and follow safety practices and regulations.&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to work in high-volume, fast paced environment.&nbsp;</li> <li>Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, and Word.&nbsp;</li> <li>Possess a strong work ethic and problem solving attitude.&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong organizational and collaborative communication skills are essential.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide 24/7 on-call support of all critical activities and emergency situations.&nbsp;</li> <li>This is not a remote or hybrid position and will require relocation if not already local to the Hawthorne, CA area.&nbsp;</li> <li>Position occasionally requires the ability to work extended hours and weekends when needed.&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to work and remain focused in confined spaces and hazardous environments while wearing appropriate PPE.&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to stand, crawl, stoop, and push or lift up to 30 lbs. unassisted.&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts when needed.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p></p> <strong>COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:</strong><br><br> Pay Range:<br> $115,000.00 - $155,000.00<br><br> <p>Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.</p> <p>Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
