The opportunity now is to join a rocketship as we prepare for the next stage of growth, and an eventual public listing.</span></p></div><p><strong>This role is onsite 5 days a week in Hodgkins, IL</strong></p> <p><strong>About the Role&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>We are looking for an experienced Assistant Operations Manager to own 2nd shift Outbound Warehouse Operations (Dry and Fresh/Frozen) at our Hodgkin's fulfillment center. Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, this role directly manages a team driving daily throughput against targets while building a stronger frontline leadership bench. Your goal will be to increase operational efficiency, raise the floor of frontline leadership, and ensure a safe environment.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Own 2nd shift Outbound execution end-to-end, with primary focus on Dry and Fresh/Frozen operations, driving throughput against daily targets</li> <li>Maintain outbound distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures</li> <li>Evaluate performance metrics to ensure quality delivery and cost-efficient work-flow processes</li> <li>Managing frontline teams in a high-volume, fast-paced fulfillment environment and comfortable coaching the team</li> <li>Comply with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by understanding and studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions</li> <li>Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols</li> <li>Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement</li> <li>Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions</li> <li>Complete warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results</li> <li>Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree
