School-Based Behavioral Technician Trainee, Behavioral Health

We are looking for dedicated employees who have their Registered Behavior Technician<strong>®</strong> (RBT<strong>®</strong>) credential or are interested in pursuing their RBT credential. The RBT credential is a professional credential for paraprofessionals offered through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board<strong>®</strong> (BACB<strong>®</strong>). The RBT credential is required for individuals providing services on any Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or insurance-based contracts in Hawaii. This position includes working 1:1 with children and young adults diagnosed with Autism in Hawaii Island School Districts. BAYADA will provide your training as well as provide extensive supervision.</p> <p><br><iframe src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/K2JS5O5Pjts" width="560" height="314"></iframe></p> <p>We have current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) openings in the following locations:</p> <p><strong>Honoka'a, </strong><strong>Laupahoehoe, </strong><strong>Waimea, </strong><strong>Kohala, </strong><strong>Waikoloa, </strong><strong>Kona a</strong><strong>nd the surrounding areas</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Monday through Friday </li> <li>Most shifts are between 7:30am and 2:30pm </li> <li>Work in your neighborhood or commute for more hours </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><br>BAYADA Offers Registered Behavior Technicians<strong> </strong> (RBTs):</p> <ul> <li>Health Insurance </li> <li>Paid Time Off </li> <li>Scholarships </li> <li>Employee Appreciation Events </li> <li>Weekly Pay </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Qualifications for a School-Based Behavior Technician:</strong> </p> <ul> <li> <p>Registered Behavior Technician (RBT ) Certified or the desire to pursue certification (Training provided by BAYADA)</p> </li> <li> <p>Be at least 18 years of age </p> </li> <li> <p>Experience working with children with <span class="WOR0">developmental/intellectual</span> disabilities is a plus, but not required</p> </li> <li> <p>An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree <em><strong>OR </strong></em>48 college credits including Math 100 and English 100 <em><strong>OR</strong></em> passage of the ParaPro Praxis Assessment (BAYADA assistance available) </p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>How You’ll Make an Impact: </strong> </p> <ul> <li> <p>Work directly with students in the classroom, following the established service plan </p> </li> <li> <p>Establish and maintain relationships with clients and school teams.
