We’re realizing the vision of unified commerce.<br>Terminal provides an integrated in-person payments platform spanning software, payment processing, device fleet management, and hardware. Our hardware portfolio includes Stripe-designed readers and accessories as well as devices from third-party hardware partners. Together, these products enable businesses to build reliable, differentiated in-person payment experiences across a broad range of use cases, countries, and operating environments.</p> <h2>What you’ll do</h2> <p>As a Terminal TPM, you will become an expert on all things related to in-person payments. You’ll work with teams across Stripe to build, ship, and iterate on first-party as well as third-party hardware products in addition to advancing our work on Tap-to-Pay and beyond. You will partner closely with hardware engineering, firmware and software engineering, design, operations, logistics, partnerships, sales, finance, legal, and regional teams. Your work will require you to be in lock-step with Payments teams as well as card networks and Local Payment Method schemes, bringing unified commerce to life across our suite of devices. This is a highly cross-functional role for someone who can connect customer needs, technical constraints, business strategy, and execution across user experience, device capabilities, cost, quality, reliability, supply, and time to market.</p> <h3>Responsibilities</h3> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">&nbsp;Independently define programs across Terminal including scoping, setting objectives, defining success criteria, and influencing resource allocation to deliver outcomes</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Apply consistent prioritization and decision-making frameworks across your programs, driving high-velocity yet durable decisions that move the team forward without creating downstream debt</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Identify obstacles and risks across Terminal’s cross-functional workstreams, proactively communicate them to stakeholders, and develop plans to address and prevent their recurrence</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Represent the voice of Terminal’s consumers and merchants to all stakeholders, translating user needs into clear program objectives and ensuring engineering and product decisions remain grounded in solving real problems</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Drive clarity across all stakeholders on goals, problems, and intended outcomes, serving as the connective tissue across Terminal sub-teams and their upstream and downstream dependencies.
