It's a chance to build the future of clinical care in your community, one nurse at a time.</p> <p><strong>Territory:</strong> <em>Montgomery, Frederick, Washington, Howard and Carroll Counties.</em></p> <p><strong>Requirement:</strong> Prior Medicare-Certified Home Health experience is required, with HCHB experience preferred</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p> <p><strong>Precept &amp; Mentor</strong></p> <ul> <li>Precept newly hired RNs and LPNs, providing one-on-one clinical training during home visits and serve as their mentor through their first year.</li> <li>Monitor and manage progression of orientation, identify and address areas of opportunity.</li> <li>Provide 1:1 mentoring, support, and meaningful feedback — in person or via ZOOM — to new and tenured field clinicians</li> <li>Assist in developing and mentoring new preceptors, with ongoing assessment of preceptor effectiveness</li> </ul> <p><strong>Educate &amp; Onboard</strong></p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with the RN Clinical Manager and Clinical Educator to ensure ongoing staff competencies</li> <li>Assist the Director of Clinical Education (DCE) with education classes as requested</li> <li>Help build and maintain new clinician onboarding calendars, ensuring attendance at all required courses</li> <li>Coordinate and manage onboarding for multiple new hires across disciplines, simultaneously</li> <li>Onboard new clinicians to help them build and manage their own caseloads</li> </ul> <p><strong>Deliver Direct Care (Minimum 50% of Time in the Field)</strong></p> <ul> <li>Case manage and admit new clients while precepting and mentoring clinicians</li> <li>Perform the duties of an RN Case Manager, including medication administration, wound care, treatments, and procedures</li> <li>Complete client assessments as needed</li> <li>Monitor client conditions and report changes to the Clinical or Client Services Manager</li> <li>Follow up on, execute, and accurately document physicians' orders</li> <li>Document all observations, interventions, and evaluations using a tablet-based point-of-care system</li> </ul> <p><strong>Support the Bigger Picture</strong></p> <ul> <li>Work closely with the office team, Clinical Education team, and fellow preceptors to keep training consistent and cohesive</li> <li>Partner with the office and Clinical Education team to help monitor and improve clinician retention</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What You Bring</strong></p> <ul> <li>Active RN license in the State of MD</li> <li>Prior Medicare-Certified Home Health experience — <strong>required</strong></li> <li>A genuine passion for clinical education, coaching, and mentorship</li> <li>Strong clinical judgment and the confidence to lead by example</li> <li>Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Why This Role Is Different</strong></p> <p>At BAYADA, our special purpose is to help people of all ages live safely at home with comfort, independence, and dignity.
