This position provides occupational therapy services to adult and geriatric clients in senior living communities throughout <strong>Somerset, Middlesex, Monmouth, and Union Counties, NJ</strong>.</p> <p class="isSelectedEnd">As a BAYADA Occupational Therapist, you'll work as part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team dedicated to helping clients maximize their independence, safety, and quality of life while remaining in the place they call home.</p> <p style="text-align: center;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: center;">&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: center;"><iframe src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Sxdj52KNt5A?t=" width="560" height="314"></iframe></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> </div> </div> <div class="iCIMS_Expandable_Container"> <div class="iCIMS_Expandable_Text"> <p>&nbsp;</p> </div> </div> <h2>Responsibilities</h2> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.</li> <li>Provide outpatient therapy services within senior living communities and group home settings serving adults with intellectual disabilities.</li> <li>Deliver evidence-based interventions that promote functional independence and improve quality of life.</li> <li>Collaborate with home health clinicians to ensure smooth transitions of care and achieve client-centered goals.</li> <li>Educate clients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans, home exercise programs, adaptive strategies, and safety recommendations.</li> <li>Complete timely documentation, treatment notes, and discharge planning using BAYADA's electronic medical record (EMR) system.</li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <ul data-spread="false"> <li>Current New Jersey Occupational Therapist (OT) license.</li> <li>Minimum of one year of recent Occupational Therapist experience.</li> <li>Home health experience preferred, but not required.</li> <li>Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program recognized by the AOTA and AMA.</li> <li>Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.</li> <li>Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with an interdisciplinary team.</li> <li>Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.</li> </ul> <h2>Why BAYADA?</h2> <p class="isSelectedEnd">At BAYADA, our employees are our greatest asset.
