Principal Product Manager, Enterprise

<p>Toast creates technology to help restaurants and local businesses succeed in a digital world, helping business owners operate, increase sales, engage customers, and keep employees happy.</p> <p>As Principal Product Manager, Enterprise, you will work with engineering, design and cross-functional teams dedicated to solving mission-critical technology challenges for Toast’s largest and most complex customers. You will deliver customer value by ensuring the platform works in ways that make our customers be successful each and every day. You will lead engagements with external business partners, technology teams and integration teams as well as work with Toast’s own Enterprise R&amp;D team. In this role, you will drive the roadmap and delivery of strategic features, integrations and platform offerings that unlock both near term and long term business value.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>A day in the life (Responsibilities):</strong></p> <ul> <li>Own product strategy through execution and impact for one or more of Toast Enterprise’s most critical product areas&nbsp;</li> <li>Drive roadmap of features aimed at supporting Toast’s Enterprise full-service customers&nbsp;</li> <li>Actively manage your teams’ backlogs through the creation, prioritization, and grooming of user stories in a fast paced agile environment</li> <li>Monitor your teams’ process and system health metrics to ensure optimal quality and velocity</li> <li>Work with the Technical Documentation and R&amp;D Enablement teams to accurately communicate product updates to internal stakeholders, advocate for adoption and usage throughout Toast’s FSR customer base&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Develop and maintain a long-term strategic roadmap to continuously improve Toast’s product market fit for full-service enterprise customers&nbsp;</li> <li>Collaborate, advocate and evangelize product capabilities and customer needs across the broader Toast R&amp;D organization&nbsp;</li> <li>Partner closely with go-to-market teams including Solutions, Sales, Product &amp; Customer Marketing and others in service of your strategic vision.</li> <li>Embrace and advocate for the use of AI tools to accelerate product discovery, streamline execution, and explore new product experiences - helping shape how we build and what we build.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What you'll need to thrive (Requirements)</strong></p> <ul> <li>Prior experience working within software development life cycle stages from ideation through customer delivery</li> <li>Experience driving cross-team initiatives and building interpersonal relationships with a range of personalities&nbsp;</li> <li>Strong program management and communication skills; detail oriented and will a bias towards action&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience with Enterprise software development, requirements writing and process&nbsp;</li> <li>A proven track record of success working directly with customers, external development teams and partners to deliver value and ensure alignment across different parts the business&nbsp;</li> <li>5+ years product management experience at a senior level&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and problem solve using creativity and strong analytical skills</li> </ul> <p><strong>Special Sauce (Nice to have):</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience working with Enterprise customers, account management and/or client development&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience leading through influence and advocacy&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Knowledge of restaurant and hospitality industry</li> </ul> <p data-pm-slice="1 1 []"><strong>AI at Toast</strong></p> <p>At Toast, one of our company values is that we're hungry to build and learn.
